Any one signed-up with HausBuddy.com can post jobs and can choose a skilled service provider that is the best fit for them.
Creating an account on HausBuddy is free and simple. Visit the sign-up page and continue using your Social media accounts like Facebook or Google plus or signup using your email account and mobile number. A code will be sent to your mobile number for verification. Take a few minutes to complete your free HausBuddy profile. Fill your profile completely as this is the only opportunity to showcase yourself to the world of work. Sign up and let’s improve the service industry that we all rely on.
Logging into your HausBuddy account is also simple and easy. Visit the Login page and continue using Social media accounts like Facebook or Google plus or login using your e-mail account. If you don’t have an Account, just click on the Sign-up tab to get started.
If you forgot your password have no worries! On the sign-in page just click on the "Reset Your Password" and follow the instructions to sign-in. Yes, we encourage all service requesters to have somebody at their premises when hausbuddies are working as we will not be held liable should any losses be reported during the course of their visit of work. No need to be present when job is to be delivered online.
Start work knowing that the funds for the job are being securely held in Hausbuddy Escrow Account until the job is completed. Once the job has been completed, the Service Fee (inclusive of all Taxes, Platform and Transactional charges) is deducted and remaining funds remains in your virtual account with HausBuddy. You can withdraw at any convenient time through your nominated Bank Account or Mobile Wallet account.
Kindly ensure that, your pets are caged securely during Hausbuddy visits to work. Many pets become agitated when people they are unfamiliar with enter the house.
Yes, as long as you have HausBuddy Coins in your bidding account. If you choose not to buy HausBuddy coins, your profile listing will still remain on HausBuddy.com, but you won't be able to respond to new job requests.
There are two ways we charge fees to service professionals: (a)When you respond to a service request by bidding for it, we will deduct HausBuddy Coins from your account and (b)When a Service Requester pays for your service using HausBuddy Pay, we will deduct a commission fee of 12.5% (Subject to change) which includes the platform, transactional charges as well as taxes. More details about HausBuddy Coins and HausBuddy Pay below: HausBuddy Coins: As a Service professional, you need to have HausBuddy Coins in your account if you want to respond to new customer Service requests. When you respond to a customer request, HausBuddy will deduct one Coin after you bid. We will deduct this amount up-front. But, you must have enough HausBuddy Coins in your balance (account), or else you won't be able to quote. If you run out of HausBuddy Coins, you will not be able to respond to job requests. But your profile listing will still appear. You can buy more HausBuddy coins on your dashboard. HausBuddy Pay: HausBuddy Pay is our payment service. It allows customers to conveniently pay for services using credit card, bank transfer or Mobile wallets. When a customer pays using HausBuddy Pay (and the Service professional agrees to receive payment through HausBuddy Pay), we will protect both Service requester and Service professionals from unforeseen problems during the job with our Service guarantee.
Not getting any job requests? There could be a few reasons:  You did not add the right service categories to your profile. The HausBuddy platform send customer requests to suitable service professionals based on the service category they are placed in.  For example, if you added the "painter" category, then mostly painter service requests will be sent automatically to you. But if somebody wants to install an air-conditioner, then maybe they will fill in a request for "Air conditioner installer". If you can do such jobs, then you should also add "Air conditioner installer" to your list of service categories.
Please check your spam folder, or junk email folder to see if there is anything from hausBuddy.com. If there is, you should mark it as "not spam". Another way to do it is to add "hello@hausbuddy.com" to your address book.
When you receive a job request in your dashboard and you want to send the customer a quote, think of it as an elevator pitch. This is your first contact with the customer, so you want to make a good impression. Firstly, you should ensure that your profile page is as complete as possible. Put in a complete business description, detailed services, and lots of high-quality photos that give customers more confidence in your experience and abilities. Then, you should also ask your previous customers to write their reviews on your profile page. Improving your quote; what you should INCLUDE: 1.Introduce yourself by name. "Hello this is Kukuss from Valuewebb Ltd" 2.Why you are suitable for the job. "We have been building wardrobes and cabinets for the past 11 years." 3.Repeat the customer’s requirements so they know you understand it. "I understand you are trying to install a new set of wardrobes for your new house in Teshie Nungua" 4.Give a cost estimate, with some breakdown of what it is involved. Even if there is not enough info, you can give an idea of what your past jobs have cost. "We have done hotel wardrobes and cabinets of your size for around GHS9000.00, with GHS2000.00 extra for side cupboards. However, this did not include special paint spraying" 5.Ask for more details, or set an appointment. “To give you a more accurate quote, ask further questions. 6.Share samples of past work that is similar to this job.
Listing on HausBuddy is a good way to get found by more customers. However, it is also important that, once you get found, you are able to give customers' the confidence in your skills. You can improve your profile listing in the following ways:  Add more photos and description of your offerings Customers need to see lots of samples of your work before they can be confident. Add lots of photos of recent work in your service directory, and group them into areas that match your services. Ask your customers to give you a review Ask your customers to visit your profile page and leave their review. More reviews help you appear higher in HausBuddy.com and Google search results. Some of our most successful listings have ten reviews or more. Having a good profile page will increase your chances of getting more jobs As a HausBuddy service professional, you will be able to respond to new customer leads with your quote/proposal. When customers have a few quotes/proposals to compare, they will hire the one that gives them the most confidence. The steps above, together with a good proposal, will help increase your chances of getting selected.
STEP 1: Visit HausBuddy.com and type the service you are looking for, as well as the location. STEP 2: Fill in more details of your requirements and submit it. Explain your requirements in detail, e.g. the issue you want resolved, the design you like, your location, the date you want it done, and attach any photos as necessary. A review is a testimonial given to a service professional by one of their customers.  When a customer writes a review for a service professional, it will appear on the service professional’s page. Each customer is also asked to rate the service professional based on timeliness, service, value and quality of work. The ratings are then calculated to give the service professional an overall "star rating" e.g. 3 stars, 4 stars, 5 stars. If a service professional gets five stars, it means that customers are very happy with all aspects of the timeliness, service, value, and quality provided by the service professional. We use star ratings as one of the factors to determine which service professionals appear on your search results.
Just visit the profile page of the service provider to see their reviews. To add your review, click the “add review” button (you must be logged in first). Sign up and let’s improve the service industry that we all rely on.
